Welcome to the VETI campus. We offer the formost variety of an adult education curriculum. As an adjunct facility to the Silver Grove Community College, we are able to provide adults several educational opportunities through certificates and Badges of Learning.
Programs offered:
Agriculture:
Courses in gardening, hydroponics and aquaculture will prepare you for the challenge of providing sims with their daily food.
Arts and crafts:
Express yourself better with courses in flower arranging, sewing, pottery and sculpture. for the artist within, get the skills to bring you vision to life.
Cosmotology and Massage Therapy:
Hair, makeup and massage. specialize or get a couple of certificates in everything. This field offers on site practical learning and field trips to learn massage styles from across the SimWorld.
Entrepreneurship:
This field offers courses in salesmanship, inventory management, and retail register skills. Skilled sims from across the nation are invited to speak at the school to better help you learn to run your own business.
Mechanical engineering:
Choose either Robotics or Toy design and soon you will be able to build a better tomorrow. Great for inventors.
Tuition and Fees:
Each Badge of Learning from the VETI courses is as follows:
- Introductory skills: Bronze badge: $500
- Intermediate Skills: Silver Badge: $1000
- Advanced Skills: Gold Badge: $1500
- Each certificate of completion in sculpture: $500 plus supply fees
- Each certificate in Massage: $1000 plus $1200 for each field trips to exotic location to learn massage
Fees for materials are not included but you may sell or keep everything you make.
Teaching at the VETI:
Any sims with advanced skills in any of the above disciplines is invited to speak at the VETI for a small honorarium.
