Editor's Note There's been a lot of changes with this new money coming in. We are able to get some infrastructure established to make this a real town. Though there were several opposing ideas we think that the choices made will best serve the community. We are open to suggestions for the coming year's budget and services. Events: Saturdays on the Village Green: Peace Hearth and Woody The Rumor Mill Hearth Hearthrob Peace Hearth, the new sensation on the Village Green, has been seen with several men. Dee Collins said she deserves a promotion. Elder Forrest Freshe Is often seen vying for her attention. She's been seen romantically with Thor Moon, and flirting with Tom Voss.

The apartment of Peace Hearth and Tuon Katashi was flooded in the early morning hours when the hot tub on the third floor leaked, creating a cascade of water into their living area. The only furnishings to be damaged was the floor which was replaced with durable bamboo flooring. First town meeting held, four community buildings to open $400,000 has been granted to the community to be used over the next 7 years. four capital projects are underway and the following building will open by the end of this year: Town Hall The Medical Center The police Station and Jail The Public School (opening in 2010) In addition funds were given for the Village green upkeep and salaries for essential personnel including; The new town spokesperson - Erensto Addario The town assembly - Raina Romina, Peace Hearth, and Leland Bishop The town doctor - Bunny Fox - funds to start in 2008 The Head of police - Leland Bishop The public school teacher - TBA -funds to start in 2010 The newspaper editor - Ernesto Addario The webmaster for the site - Leland Bishop Bylaws were established for electing town assembly persons and the rate of pay for town personnel. Silver Grove First Babies Born The first babies of Silver Grove were born in late spring of 2004. Aaron is a bouncing baby boy and Beada is a precious little girl. Their parents Zola Masego and Rodney Douglas are not married. There have been reports filed that Rodney Douglas, a local vagrant took advantage of Zola Masego earlier this year. Zola's pregnancy was attended by Erensto Addario, the only local sim with medical training. The pregnancy was difficult for Zola, she passed out or lost bladder control more than once. SimNational Guard Training Facility Opens With the first local military recruit starting basic training this year, the SimNational Guard Training Facility opened next to the Community College. Tuon Katashi joined the military this year after a career change from the entertainment industry. He is often seen around town in his uniform. The facility is open to all active and former military as well as their families. It offers several exercise machines, an obstacle course, swimming pool and punching bags. The business has been recognized by the SimCity Chamber of Commerce. She received a $10,000 award for outstanding service to her community. This comes at a time when it is greatly needed for Ms. Masego since she recently gave birth to twins.

Fire Erupts In Boarding House

Even with just a few of us we must realize that in order for the town to function we must pull together and begin leading this town to it's future. With no fire services, police services, or even a town hall we are adrift in dangers waiting to happen unless we look out for one another. Every Friday night come for a double feature. Starts at 6pm. The Rumor Mill The latest gossip from anonomyous letters: Tuon Should Go! Tuon Katshi is becoming a public menace. He attacks both his own sister, and one of the female residents on a near daily basis and has begun insulting the men in the house as well. In addition his job record is now becoming erratic with him quitting for no obvious reason right after getting a promotion. The man is obviously unstable.

Late on Wednesday a kitchen fire started in Mrs. Silver Boarding house. Due to lack of emergency services it took the SimCity fire department 30 minutes to arrive. Tuon Katashi the originator of the fire, was cooking spaghetti and claimed he got distracted. He was seen running from the house as the fire was starting. His neighbors had this to say. "I called him a wimp. He starts a fire and runs away. He's supposed to be defending our nation, Ha!," said Raina Romina, one of the residents who was in the building when it happened. According to onlookers the taunts of his neighbors resluted him in going back into the house to extinguish the fire. No one was harmed and no property was damaged. Townie Vagrancy on the Rise A vagrant has taken up residence on the back stoop of Mrs. Silver's Boarding house. The young man can be found stealing leftover food and sleeping on the patio from time to time. Raina Romina first filed a complaint about him in the fall but SimCity social services have declared it "not a problem for this jurisdiction." Lacking it's own police force, residents can do next to nothing as he loiters in the area. Police cadet Leland Bishop levied a $500 fine on him which made him disappear for a while. However inthe summer he came back seeking shade and scaveging off of leftover hot dogs. Zola Masego claims the man took liberties with her, possibly at the urging of Peace Hearth. Peace Hearth wins $500 for dance off charity My Muse dance studio sponsored a pajama dance party with a dance contest to benefit orphaned children in SimCity. There were several contestants, but local resident and dancing fool, Peace Hearth walked away with the prize. However, with vagrancy on the rise the business outlook is not hopeful. SimCity Chamber of Commerce has taken an interest inthe business dealings of Silver Grove and has proposed a cash award for small businesses in the area.

More fights have broken out between: Zola Masego and Peace Hearth, and Tuon Katashi and Raina Romina. In addition complaints were filed by Zola Masego against verity Maher for Sexual Harrassment, and Raina Romina filed a nuisance claim against Tuon Katashi on the behalf of Leland Bishop for needless insulting. Leland Bishop notices suspicious activity on the village green. A woman was "fiddling with the gadget kiosk." then took off with several mp3 players, cells phones and gaming simulators. The security guard, Mr. Bishop said, "I was torn, I wasn't sure if she was the vendor coming to check on the machine or not, but I thought it was odd that she would be taking out more stuff than she put in so I confronted her and it turns out she had been doing the same thing up in simCity for quite a while, usually with big buildings. " Mr. bishop received $500 in reward funds and was promoted to cadet. Simcity Police Chief made this statement. "We need more sim that can think on their feet. Mr. Bishop is just the sort we need to train up to protect our small towns of SimNation. Paramedic Pandemic Ernesto Addario, recently promoted to paramedic decided to drive onthe sidewalk instead of getting out and walking to an emergency. This nearly led to tragic consequences seeing that people were using the sidewalk at the time. According to witnesses he came close to running over an elderly man in a blue jogging suit. Mr. Addario has been fired. Silver Valley Grove is now looking for medical professionals. Looking for Love? Maybe it's a crystal ball away! Silver Grove Valley seems to have a surplus of men, making dating extremely difficult for many young men. The local gypsy woman plies her trade, saying that business is good. Susannah Cage, the director of My Muse Studio was matched with Leland Bishop for a blind date. Susannah described the date as "The best date she's ever been on," and admitted to having a crush on her date before the night was over. Mr. Bishop who asked for the date paid $4000 simoleons for the privilege. "It was worth it all," he said, "I tried the nornal way of doing things but I met hardly anyone, no one I liked and was so tired after with nothing to show for it. this was so much easier i would recommend it to anyone looking for a real relationship." Since then others have used the service such as Raina Romina and Yasmin Lapham. The Gypsy was confident that this was the beginning of a trend. "We expect more business to come out way as time goes on. some sims simply do not want to settle for the sim they know." Remember it's your business so you don't have to put up with public fighting, woohoo or water balloons if you don't want to. Keep to these basics and soon you will earn the equivalent of a bronze sales badge simply through your own hard work. I hope this keeps you for some of the worry that the first years of my business gave me.

Their files say that Peace was forced to attend Addicts Anonomous after a DUI, and that Tuon Katashi lost his job after random drug testing. It even rumored that Zola Masego our new business entrepreneur was in rehab for an elixir addiction. It obvious that the Addario's are running from something, but what? Not in my Public Please! I moved to this town to get away from the horrors of the city and what do I find but some trashy woman and a dirty old man in very full view of the public doing what should be confined to bedrooms on a park bench. something must be done before certain city lifestyles take hold in this town! Market Report Silver Grove Valley has opened it's doors, while at this time services are limited it is hopeful that most services will be available soon after securing a recurring annual interest free loan of $100,000 from the Neighborhood Partnership Program to be giving every Star year. We have welcomed our first 6 residents and Mrs. Silver's Boarding House is at full capacity. One half of the sims have secured jobs and one has started her own business within Silver Grove. The Cybergames Arcade is already a Rank 1 business and has won the LeTourneau Prize for new businesses in the surrounding area. Townies are beginning to pour into the neighborhood looking for roommates and places to live. It looks like things are on the rise!

The 6 newest residents of silver grove, in fact the very founders of the town's population, or at least we hope, are fighting over everything. Fist fights have broken out in the common area of Mrs. Silver's Boarding House. Tuon Katashi and Raina Romina fight on a near constant basis, He also argues loudly with his adoptive sister Peace Hearth. She in turn has attacked zola masego on several instances. When interviewed Peace flipped off the reporter, and Tuon just sneered. However, Raina has this to say on Tuon, "He's an awful little man, disparaging me just because he has issues with lesbians. I showed him." Zola Masego also offered comment. "They both obviously have issues. I made a simple comment about how much skin her dress showed and next thing I know I'm being poked. something ought to be dine the family is a menace to society." As of this time nothing can be done since the fighting is on private property. Jobs for Residents! Three residents have taken jobs in the area. Each are entry level jobs but soon we know that these hard working sims will be on the fast track.
