Editor's Note:

We are beginning to feel the pains of growing into a town. Even with just a few of us we must realize that in order for the town to function we must pull together and begin leading this town to it's future. With no fire services, police services, or even a town hall we are adrift in dangers waiting to happen unless we look out for one another.

The Rumor Mill

The latest gossip from anonomyous letters:

Tuon Should Go!

Tuon Katshi is becoming a public menace. He attacks both his own sister, and one of the female residents on a near daily basis and has begun insulting the men in the house as well. In addition his job record is now becoming erratic with him quitting for no obvious reason right after getting a promotion. The man is obviously unstable.

Late on Wednesday a kitchen fire started in Mrs. Silver Boarding house. Due to lack of emergency services it took the SimCity fire department 30 minutes to arrive.

Tuon Katashi the originator of the fire, was cooking spaghetti and claimed he got distracted. He was seen running from the house as the fire was starting. His neighbors had this to say. "I called him a wimp. He starts a fire and runs away. He's supposed to be defending our nation, Ha!," said Raina Romina, one of the residents who was in the building when it happened. According to onlookers the taunts of his neighbors resluted him in going back into the house to extinguish the fire.

No one was harmed and no property was damaged.

Townie Vagrancy on the Rise

A vagrant has taken up residence on the back stoop of Mrs. Silver's Boarding house. The young man can be found stealing leftover food and sleeping on the patio from time to time. Raina Romina first filed a complaint about him in the fall but SimCity social services have declared it "not a problem for this jurisdiction."

Lacking it's own police force, residents can do next to nothing as he loiters in the area. Police cadet Leland Bishop levied a $500 fine on him which made him disappear for a while. However inthe summer he came back seeking shade and scaveging off of leftover hot dogs. Zola Masego claims the man took liberties with her, possibly at the urging of Peace Hearth.

Peace Hearth wins $500 for dance off charity

My Muse dance studio sponsored a pajama dance party with a dance contest to benefit orphaned children in SimCity. There were several contestants, but local resident and dancing fool, Peace Hearth walked away with the prize. She

What did Peace do to me? - Summer 2003

Tuon keeps attacking Raina. Poor girl. She really should learn to defend herself. I imagine she'll move out as soon as they let us. But that Peace is the worst of all. I'm sure she slipped something into my juice one night at the village green cause I don't rememer anything but I woke up next to Rodney Douglas, that vagrant that keeps coming round here. I remember her being all happy and giggly that night too.

I told Leland I wanted her arrested but he said there wasn't any proof. I know she did this to me, I just know it. I'm trying to maintain a good life here but now I'm craving elixer again, and I know what happens after that! I'd been clean for years now.

I've been working too hard. I'm trying to write a game guide to bring in extra money. I'll never afford a house if business doesn't pick up. I've managed to get the Arcade to rank 2 but it's slow going, at least the video game vendors are giving me rebates now.

Worst thing is I think I must have the stomach flu. I've been throwing up all morning.

My sister is a tramp and my talent agent sucks -spring 2003

I finally get promoted out of stand up comedy bits to birthday mascot...as least it was more money, but then my stupid talent agent gives my sister a job as a lounge singer, she's got no creativity and sings like a frog! And she wins some prize at the dance studio when she's drunk as a skunk. Probably sleeping with the judge, she woohoo's everyone else.

I let Thor have it but he said Peace has what the public wants and I don't. I quite I was so disgusted, how dare she do this to me! I took the only other decent job available, a recruit in the sim army. That at least has a good looking uniform.

Raina is still Raina, bringing in odd women all the time, distracting me. Made me start a kitchen fire.

After I had to put the blaze out all by myself I went up to the attic for some elixir. It was a bad trip though. I gotta go into the city and get some quality stuff, this bites.

I got a job! - Spring 2003

Tuon is an idiot, an Idiot I tell you! He gets stoned out of his gourd before a show and acts so goofy that a talent agent thinks he's meant to work with kids. Then he up and quits and decided to join the military. He's got no friends and everyone thinks he's a dirt bag, which he is. and i'm his little sister so all I get is a big fat noogie for telling him so.

I was playing around with the stage equipment after Tuon left the village green one night and the agent Thor Moon offered me a job as a lounge singer. I mean I did get a plaque for my music and dance enthusiam from My Muse, so it's not entirely unrealistic that I should go into something like this.

My muse had a big pajama party dance off and I won. I don't remember a whole lot, they had an open bar, ut I got $500 forit. Pretty cool. I was so happy I cried.

I met this new guy, Anton, we hit it off really well. We had a great date.

Social Celebrity, ME? -Winter 2003

I don't get it really. I'm practically a celebrity. One little article in the paper last year and wham, I'm on fire. I figure now's the time to start that book I've in my head while I've got a bit of fame to back it up.

I'm trying to get into music and dance and stuff for Susannah...but dance is a lot ofwork, maybe I'll just listen to tunes. I can do that.

I spend most of my free time watching movies, my favorite right now is the drama Pool Table. Susannah and I have watched it at least a dozen times. Good thing she likes the composer. I really think she could be the one, ya know.

I'm getting a good rep! - Fall 2003

People are starting to notice me more around here. I guess that horrible ambulance incident didn't affect people's opinion after all. The townies are all saying what a good person I am. Some even say I got a raw deal, that I was trying to save lives.

I even got a new job as a political intern. I like politics and it's something the town really needs. There are laws in place from the founder and regulations from the builders but that's it. We could use more town services and town hall looks like a good place to start.

Hardly see Zola around she always seems to be working.

Witchy Woman - Fall 2003

Been in a foul mood lately, witchy even. This townie keeps showing up and loitering around the house. I tried to annoy him in hopes he'd go away but no luck. He's starting to steal our food and sleep outside. Leland made him pay a fine and I hope he won't be back.

Larry Landgrab set me up with a friend of his, Ashiya Matthews, she says she's a white witch. not sure I'm interested in all that stuff, sounds more like Ernesto's thing all that studying and such.
