Life ain't good, it's great! - summer 2004

My love life is going great. I've got a little crush on my neighbor Zola, I've been babysitting the twins while she works. I love the little sprouts and can't wait to have my own. Things with Susannah couldn'r be going better. We had another dream date and woohoo'd right on the sofa during a movie marathon at Desirable Discourse. I wonder if I have to arrest myself now, but no one said anything so I guess i'm off the hook.

I got promoted too! I am now officially a partol officer for the Silver Grove Valley area. The only problem is i don't have any help so if I can'r get a suspect subdued, I can't get him to jail. I interviewed a few of the toughs hanging around about Rodney Douglas but he seems to just be a drifter. I can't pin him to any conspiracy that Zola keeps going on about.

Social Celebrity, ME? -Winter 2003

I don't get it really. I'm practically a celebrity. One little article in the paper last year and wham, I'm on fire. I figure now's the time to start that book I've in my head while I've got a bit of fame to back it up.

I'm trying to get into music and dance and stuff for Susannah...but dance is a lot ofwork, maybe I'll just listen to tunes. I can do that.

I spend most of my free time watching movies, my favorite right now is the drama Pool Table. Susannah and I have watched it at least a dozen times. Good thing she likes the composer. I really think she could be the one, ya know.

Sorry shouldn't gloat, but oh, man such a cool year. I went down to confront the vendor cause I didn't want to have to do paperwork if she was pulling out all her stuff and i get promoted and $500! I paid the gypsy woman to find a date cause it was too hard finding one on my own and I met Susannah. This year can't get any better!

Here's me in my new cadet uniform. They posted it in the paper and everything! Not even Tuon can ruin this moment! I don't like the idea of having to exercise for my job but a real officer's salary and I could afford a house with room for kids instead of a studio apartment.

And this is Susannah Cage, she's the director for My Muse studio. We had the most fantastic first date and I've got such a crush now.

I looked all over for someone like her but just got so tired I had to lounge on the park bench.

2001 - A brand new rut

I get into ruts easy. I know, but there's nothing like a good rut, being able to sit on the couch and watch a movie, have lunch on the patio with neighbors. It's all good. Takes my mind off of her too. She left me, her loss.


I got a job as the security guard at the village green, and so far all I got was an eyeful of Peace Hearth and a really old geezer. (please, please burn that image out of my mind's eye!) I chat online with random people like Bella Goth.

It was a bright and sunny morning when I moved in. The landlady, Roxie Rasmussen, seems capable enough and if I don't have to rake leaves or clean the main areas I'm good. I guess I'm here because of a tragic star struck romance gone bad. My high school sweetheart, she... well we were going to get married but she left me at the altar for my best friend. not my best memory there. So I took the next bus ticket for anywhere. Here's good as anywhere. Looks like a nice town to raise a family in, not that I have anyone to raise a family with. Maybe I can write that novel that's been burning in my brain.
